It could have ended with 2 books

I was so excited for this book to release! Expectations were high and mostly met. The 3 stars came from this... I feel like the book could have ended here. I am not left wanting more from book 3. I don't have the "oh my god it has to release tomorrow" feeling. Prep and Dre are awesome as well as the other characters. I just feel like some people and events were thrown out there to continue part 3 when it wasn't necessary. Who knows what will happen in part 3 but I hope it ties it all together to make sense of why there is a need for 3 parts.

5 MOTHER EFFIN PREPPY IS BACK STARS!

Well colour me speechless the evil genius has gone and done it again, left me sat here wanting to pull my damn hair out with that ending.
There was never a doubt in my mind of whether or not I was going to love the second part of Preppy's story, it was just a given I absolutely KNEW I would and from the very first page I proved myself right, this second book (the sixth book in the king series) had me addicted more than an heroine addict is for their next fix. I couldn't put it down as soon as I started and I never stopped wanting more, even now.
In this book you'll see Preppy and Dre go though an incredible about of pain and extreme sadness as Preppy tries to find himself after the horrific amount of torture he endured in the darkness but it's not an easy thing for him to do, he pushes the ones he loves fearing he's not good enough and it's heartbreaking.
Whilst I want to give a more detailed review I ain't spoiling this bad boy for anyone so just know it will BLOW YOUR DAMN MIND. The plot twists in this will make you scream out in frustration and pull your damn hair out.
Preppy and Dre have cemented themselves into my brain and deep down into my heart making sure they'll never be able to leave and I LOVE it. All of these characters will forever be my favourites, ALWAYS.
T.M. Frazier is quite the evil genius leaving the book the way it ended, she's the master of cliffhangers and it's so frustrating I NEED more of preppy and Dre's story especially after that ending.
I wish I could give more than 5 stars for this because god knows it deserves it, Preppy deserves all the stars.

Every time I get ready to read another book in this series I think I'm prepared. Yet every time I get done reading, I'm blown away. This book had me glued to my tablet from beginning to end. This is the 2nd installment in Preppy and Dre's dark love story and it didn't disappoint.
In this second installment of Preppy's story, he's trying to acclimate to a life that's way different from when he "died." Dre is trying to help her dad financially by selling her grandma's house (even though she doesn't want to) and was all set to try and move on with her life before she found out Preppy was still alive. This book mostly focuses on them individually. Oh, there's plenty of times that they're together but it's about how they've both changed from who they were in Part One and how they deal with that change. Also, you get quite a bit of interaction with the rest of the crew.
This book had me on the edge of my seat and I stayed up into the wee hours of the morning so I could finish it in one go. It pulled a riot of emotions out of me. One minute I was laughing at something and then something epic would get revealed and I would be sent reeling. The bombs that got dropped totally caught me off guard even though I was expecting there to be some. And that ending! Gah!!! I have a love-hate relationship with cliffhangers. I am already counting down the days until I can get my hands on Part 3. Kudos to you T.M. Frazier. Yet again you've left with me with a major book hangover which is the best kind to have ;-). 5 out of 5 freaking stars!!!!!!!
