My new favourite.

Until now my favourite book was Own Goal by debute author J.G. Rickards (which, incidentally, has nothing to do with football) but, Final Whistle by J Jackson Bentley (which clearly has) has gone straight to the top of the league; which is somewhat surprising as I hate football! It is actually a jolly good suspence thriller that uses football as the vehicle to carry an excellent story line which is utterly convincing and, to the uninitiated, sounds thoroughly convincing. Peopled by vivid and engaging characters, I was totaly engrossed from beginnig to end. Go on, challenge your prejudices and try something new. You will not regret it.

I have loved everything I have read of his

Very Engaging, and the action is almost non stop. Just learned of Mr Bentley and aside from the mix of standard and metric conversion systems which I have encountered in just about every UK writer's books, I have loved everything I have read of his.

worthwhile

I've been reading most of the author's books and have found them entertaining and engaging. Love the characters. It's without much of the trashy, unnecessary sex that seems to invade most other books.
